Our team
Jay Porter is the owner of JPAC Construction. A Marine Corps Veteran of 9 years of active duty service, and graduate of California State University Fresno's Construction Management Program, Lyles College of Engineering. Prior to founding JPAC Construction he worked as both a superintendent and engineer for a large and small construction company where he was responsible for all phases of construction. He also has experience as a carpenter, drywaller, laborer, painter and electrician.
Jay is experienced in OSHPD, USACE, new construction (commercial, residential), tenant improvement (commercial), remodel (residential).
As a husband, father, veteran and man of faith he values your project as much as you do.
Our history
JPAC Construction is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned company, as well as a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise, and certified small business founded in 2015 on a foundation of faith, family and a desire to provide costumers individualized service. In our short history we have done residential remodel and new construction, as well as commercial tenant improvement work. Our newest venture is in construction and office materials supply.
With a background in working for both a large and smaller construction company, JPAC's owner Jay Porter has acquired a wealth of experience as an engineer and Superintendant working on OSHPD projects (Kaweah Delta North Tower, Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital), USACE (Fort Hunter Liggett Machine Gun Range, Demolition Range), DGS Jobs (Fresno Veterans' Home), Commercial Tenant improvements (OccuMed Office, Valley Health Team Clinic, Kerman, Fresno State Viticulture and Enology Lab).
JPAC Construction's first job was installing new flooring and home improvements for a disabled Marine Veteran (double purple heart recipient). The Foth Farms extension and remodel was a residential project which involved adding 370 square feet to the established building as well as a full kitchen and multiple bathroom remodels, and lighting, fire alarm, fans, door and door hardware upgrades. JPAC ventured back into commercial work with Osso Good Bone Broths by building USDA Inspector's office within their preexisting facility.
JPAC Construction is a certified DVBE (disabled veteran's business enterprise, SDVOSB (service disabled veteran's organization small business), SBE (small business enterprise).
As a company built on a foundation of faith, JPAC construction gives back a minimum of 10% of all profits to various charities and community projects (World Vision, Sameritan's Purse - Operation Christmas Child, Happy Trails Riding Academy, Marine Corps Toys for Tots, Teach Beyond).

JPAC Construction is a licensed, bonded and insured Class B General Contactor CLSB #1000452 which can provide and manage all phases of your construction projects, both commercial and residential.
JPAC is a fully certified SB/DVBE (disabled veteran's business enterprise small business) #1789891 as well as a SDVOSB CVE (service disabled veteran owned small business - DUNS #079810954, Cage Code #7CYT2) that can help your company achieve the participation level required for state of California, local and federal jobs. JPAC Construction can help with your "public works" jobs and is a registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as a DIR PWC contractor Registration #1000045551. We meet the "Commercial useful function" requirements as a Supplier of materials and supplies Resale Permit #103020822.
JPAC Construction can also provide more individual needs for smaller projects, remodel can light installation, ceiling fan installation, construction repair work (hole patching, drywall repair, ect), New fixture installation (lights, plumbing), Door and hardware installation. As well as many other smaller needs.
